Random thought - Noises

Have you ever wondered why a warrior can use a Warcry to boost both himself and his friend's morale even though he is silenced? According to my mithran dictionary:

war cry (noun)
a call made to rally soldiers for battle or to gather together participants in a campaign.

So, if that Antica somehow managed to get you silenced, why can you still cry out for help? Not to mention "Call for help". You can't use ninjitsu or any magic either.. that's okay I guess.

The strangest part of the effect silence is bards not being able to play an instrument. I understand that they can't use their voices, but why can't they play that flute or harp?

3 Hugs:

  • Why can I steal Hare Meat from almost every kind of bunny-type fiend without damaging the little critter? Why can I steal a whole bunch of Wool from a sheep but need two sheepskins to synth one Wool? Why does a Yagudo Drummer use a flute?
And why are the magicites which seal the shadowlord (you remember: the great leader of the beastmen) located inside the strongholds of ... the beastmen?

    Well, only Altana knows ^^

  • These are all good questions! I doubt I'll ever know the answers. I still can't figue out why sheep migrated to the hot sands of Valkrum Dunes!
